MY TRIP TO AUSTRALIA
Day 1
We left home at lunch time for the airport and had plenty of time to spare so we watch the planes coming and going it was very interesting then we boarded the plane and we were sitting up the front.There was a tv screen and remote on every seat so you could watch movies or listen to music .The airlines gave me a special meal for dinner. The flight was a little bumpy when we left NZ but settled when we flew above the clouds because it was raining in Auckland. In Australia the weather was fine and warm. Aunty Mel and my cousin Jack were waiting for us and it was lovely to have hugs and kisses with them. We did not get to bed until 9.30pm which is 11.30pm NZ time, I will sleep in, in the morning (NOT).
Day 2Jack went to school and Aunty Mel went to work today so Granddad took me for a walk. When Aunty Mel came home at lunch time she took us all for a drive around town and to Jacks school, then Aunty Mel took us to Browns Planes to buy some shoes for Jack to wear to school and I even bought some for me and a nice purple watch. While waiting for Jack after school, I heard and saw some very large and noisey black crows. When we got back home I helped Jack with his homework and after dinner we watched a movie then went to sleep for the night.
Day 3This morning we went to South Bank on the train. We had a walk around a beautiful park with a man made beach and large swimming pool full of fountians and waterfalls, right along side Brisbane river, we stayed and played, swam and had lunch for hours, then court the train back in the afternoon so Jack could get ready for league at 6pm. Jacks training was for 1 hour then it was home for tea and early night because Jack had school the next day.
Day 4Today Sarah (my other cousin) comes home from school camp, I was looking forward to seeing her because I was missing her. We went to her school to pick her up at 2.30pm and then waited there for Jack to finish at 3pm. We took jack to his league game tonight, Jack scored a try but it was disallowed (stupid). Then home for a hot drink and bed.
Day 5This morning we took Sarah to netball, and the girls won there game 27/6. Today is very hot and we are going to the mall to do some shopping, and we shopped and shopped. After dinner we got ready to go to Sarah and Jack's school for a blue light disco, which was lots of fun. When we went in, we were all given a ticket and I won the prize. It was an itunes voucher, I gave it to Sarah because I don't have an iphone and she does. We didn't get to bed until 10pm, thats midnight in NZ time.
Day 6Today is mothers day so Sarah, Jack and I made breakfast for Grandma , she had a cup-of-tea and toast when Aunty Mel got home we went for a drive around to see the sights and then to the mall. I had a play on the computer before dinner.
Day 7Today I went to Dream World on the Gold Coast with Grandma, Granddad, Sarah and Jack, while Aunty Mel went to work. We had the most awesome day. I went on so many rides and tryed some scary ones too, one ride scared me to bits. Grandma and Granddad came on some of the rides with me, Sarah and Jack too. We didn't leave the park until 4.30pm and didn't get back home again till 6pm, thanks to Granddad who got us lost !!!!!!!!!. But lucky Sarah and Jack knew a different way home. We all had dinner and went to bed early.
Day 8Today is my Grandmas birthday, so Sarah, Jack and I made Grandma breakfast, then Aunty Mel drove us to the Gold Coast for lunch and more shopping. We got home again about 5pm and it was a rush to get Jack ready for league training. We got home at 7pm for dinner, a shower and early to bed as we have to be up at 5am to catch the plane home to New Zealand.
Day 9We are flying home today, the plane leaves at 8.30am but we had to be at the airport early to check in and check our bags in.We are on the plane now. I have just finished breakfast and it was yummy. I cant wait to get back to Grandmas house to see my Mum and my little sister and brother. Today is my sister Georgia's 4th birthday and I want to give her a toy koala that I have for her. And I also got mum a jumper for mothers day.At Grandmas house now and mum just hugged me and hugged me, I had cuddles with my sister and brother too. Mum said it was time to drive home to Wellsford at 7pm, I was scared cause it was raining so hard and I was so cold. When we got home I couldnt sleep because I was used to it beening earlyer cause of the time difference, but mum talked to me and finaly I went to sleep. ( I didnt wake up till 9.30am the next morning).
